Duvelle Bowmen History of the badge :-
The club was formed in Duffield and Duvelle is the Norman name for Duffield.
The castle is Duffield castle one of the first sites the National Trust obtained. Only it's foundations are visible today.
The badge was designed by the committee in 1992, the club was founded in 1989 by Bev Johnson a school teacher at Ecclesbourne School.
First shoots were at St Philameners Convent near Broadway Derby , then at Dairy Wood farm Belper Lane End, then onto Meynell Langley in 1991.
