OPEN SHOOTS

26th April Open Shoot

Dear Archers,

What a wonderful day we had on Sunday at our Open Shoot.

We hosted 186 archers who all seemed to enjoy our new courses on what turned out to be a rather (unusually for Duvelle) warm and dry day.

Well done to Carol for all her hard work booking the archers in.

The Bluebells were fully out and hopefully you enjoyed the ambiance of both of our woods. A serious lack of mud was observed and commented on.

We'll try harder next time!

The day seemed to go smoothly as the radios were unusually quiet!
Marshalls had very little to do and catering completely sold out of home made cakes, burgers, hotdogs and cold drinks!

Well done to all the hard working catering team.

We would all like to thank the smiling archers who attended who made our day such a success and thank you for their appreciative comments about both courses.

Course layers :-

Paul & Julie and Bjorn - Sandpit Wood &

Graham, Mat, Pat - Pond Wood take a bow!

Admin was as efficient as ever, both booking in and collating the scores. Well done Barry.

Your appreciation and comments made all of our hard work over the last few months seem worthwhile!

We look forward to seeing you all again later in the year on Sunday the 26th September at our next Open Shoot. (Bookings are open on the 1st of May!)

(PLEASE NOTE 10am Shoot start so muster by 9:30am please!)

Regards,

Stu Bradley
